Congratulations to our 2004 Breakaways Boys who have made it to
the Nationals in North Carolina!
These boys have worked incredibly hard all season long, and this is
their last go-around together. Most of them have graduated from High School in the past few weeks, so they only have Nationals left
to play with each other one last time.
These boys showed so much perseverance, especially playing Regionals in Phoenix, Arizona, in 110-degree weather. In their first two games, they were able to keep shutouts, winning 1-0 and 2-0. In their third game, they tied 2-2, went into double overtime, then into PKs, where their keeper made two incredible saves to win and get them to the Championship. As exhausted as these boys were from their first three games, they still played their hearts out in the Championship game, winning 2-0. Winning
Regionals in Arizona means they are now headed to North Carolina to compete for a National Title starting on July 7th.
We greatly appreciate any support you will be able to give so that our entire team is able to play on the National stage. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and we thank you in advance for your contribution.
Tax ID number is available if needed.
